Christine (Hardy) Framson, PhD, RD
Background Information
Framson has been a member of the division of pediatric gastroenterology since 1990. Her areas of interest include the nutritional support of critically ill children, children with gastrointestinal diseases, and the management of children with malnutrition.
Framson earned her bachelor of science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Rhode Island. She recently completed her Doctoral degree in Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. She serves as a Clinical Teaching Associate in Pediatrics at Brown University Medical School.
Framson is an active member of the American Dietetic Association and is a certified nutrition support dietitian by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She is a licensed dietitian/nutritionist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
