Infectious Diseases Clinic
The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinic provides diagnosis and treatment
of all types of infections. Areas of expertise include: bone and joint
infections, fever (persistent or recurrent), lymph node infections, neonatal
herpes and cytomegalovirus infections, staphylococcal infections (including
community-associated MRSA), and recurrent strep throat and rheumatic fever.
The clinic is held on Thursday from 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m. All appointments are
scheduled after consultation between the child’s primary care provider and
one of our infectious diseases physicians. Physicians should call 401-444-8360
and ask to schedule his or her patient.
