Family-Centered Care Committee

Hasbro Children’s Hospital has long committed itself to the philosophy that close involvement of the family is central to a child’s health and healing. Recognizing parents as essential partners in their children’s care is integral to devising an individualized plan for each child and each family.

At the hospital, the Family-Centered Care Committee, which includes hospital staff as well as parents and guardians of patients, is charged with ensuring adherence to this philosophy.
