Cleft and Craniofacial Program
The Cleft and Craniofacial Program at Rhode Island Hospital dates
from 1956, the longest standing in New England. It is staffed by a multidisciplinary
group of interested and involved individuals with specialties in oral
surgery, otolaryngology, speech and hearing, neurosurgery and plastic surgery.
Three members of our team have craniofacial fellowship backgrounds. The
program offers a child with a congenital facial deformity a one-stop experience
for all the specialties that may be useful in his or her evaluation and treatment.
The hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with clinics
meeting Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. The administrative coordinator
can be reached during office hours at 401-444-4188.
