The Newport Alliance
Drug and Alcohol Testing
The Newport Alliance currently provides drug testing services to more
than 2,000 public and private employers in 30 states. Newport Hospital
manages its local, regional and national controlled substance and alcohol
testing programs from its corporate facility in Newport, Rhode Island.
This is accomplished through the active use of nearly 900 medical
facilities. In addition, we have a network of more than 4,000 facilities we can
access to meet the needs of our clients.
Our in-house medical review
officer is certified by the Medical Review Officer Certification Council
which is sponsored by the American College of Occupational Medicine.
Since 1989, our occupational health division has been a leader in
providing testing programs for public and private sector employers
nationwide. The program was specifically designed to meet all applicable
federal DOT regulations. Our clients benefit from the systems we have
developed, tested, reworked and perfected over the last 12 years.
