The Occupational Health Center is located at Newport Hospital in the Borden-Carey Building, 11 Friendship Street, Newport, Rhode Island. Newport is the southernmost town on Aquidneck Island. From south of Aquidneck Island: Follow 1-95 North to exit 3A. Bear right at the end of the ramp onto Route 138 East. At the intersection of Route 1 (about two miles after the University of Rhode Island), take a left onto Route 1 North. Take the Jamestown/Newport Bridge exit on the right. The Jamestown Bridge leads to the Newport Bridge, which requires a $2 toll. Take the second exit and follow the ramp around to the left. At the light, go left about half a mile. At the second light, go right onto Broadway. Once on Broadway, Newport Hospital is approximately a half-mile on the left. Friendship Street is a cross street at the traffic light. Turn left onto Friendship Street and right into the Borden-Carey parking lot. The Occupational Health Center is on the ground floor of the Borden-Carey Building, suite G-40. From north of Aquidneck Island: Take 24 South (accessible from 1-93 from Boston and 1-95 from New Bedford) to Route 114. Route 114 is a four-lane road called West Main Roadthat runs through the towns of Portsmouth and Middletown and becomes a two-lane road called Broadway when you enter Newport. Once on Broadway, Newport Hospital is approximately a half-mile on the left. Friendship Street is a cross street at the traffic light. Turn left onto Friendship Street and right into the Borden-Carey parking lot. The Occupational Health Center is on the ground floor of the Borden-Carey Building, suite G-40. |
