Patient/Family Support
Volunteers who wish to have a great deal of interaction with people
are encouraged to apply for a position dealing with patients and
their families. These positions are right for individuals who are
comfortable dealing with the public, are physically able to stand
for long periods and have a caring attitude.
You could work in:

- Vanderbilt rehabilitation
- Craft cart
- Rolling library
- Hospitality cart

Behind the Scenes
For those who prefer to volunteer "behind the scenes,"
we have many positions that exist in ancillary services. There is
no patient contact and volunteers support important office functions
critical to the smooth operation of the hospital.
You could work in:
- Health information services
- Occupational health
- Administration

- NHCC family practices
- Admissions
