Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center
Even though I have worked at the Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center since
1987, the miracles I see still amaze me.
- A 20-year old helpless, incontinent man re-learns life skills,
returns to college, and goes on to become a physician.
- Two boys who were thought to be dead after drowning are able to
continue their lives and return to school after intense rehab.
At Vanderbilt Rehab, we help to restore lives, and when that isn't
possible, we help people cope and we teach families how to care for their
loved ones.
I have worked on telemetry, psychiatric and neurosurgical units, but
this has been, by far, the most rewarding experience.
