Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center
The Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center at Newport Hospital has been providing
comprehensive rehabilitation services for decades and is known
throughout the region for its unique programs, excellent outcomes and patient-focused
care.
With three programs, Vanderbilt meets both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation needs. Our acute rehabilitation inpatient program provides care on the sixth floor of Newport Hospital for people who require close medical supervision by a physician, 24 hour rehab nursing care and three hours a day of therapies. Our outpatient rehab program includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology and a prosthetic and orthotic clinic. Our outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program provides education and monitored exercise for those clients with a cardiac diagnoses.
The Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center at Newport Hospital has a history of extremely high patient satisfaction scores and outstanding outcomes, and is accredited by the Joint Commission Our inpatient rehab program has also achieved accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). As part of a Magnet-designated hospital, the Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center offers you not only the benefit of experience but also the highest quality nursing care available.
