Newport Hospital Occupational Health Center
Why Choose Us?
One of the first occupational health service providers in Rhode Island,
the Occupational Health Center was established at Newport Hospital in 1984
and has evolved over the years to become a business resource at a national
level. From medical care for work-related injuries to guidance in
complying with occupational health standards, the center offers a complete
range of services to companies in the local area and beyond.
- All the services in a single location
Employees receive comprehensive care in a setting specifically
designed to meet the unique needs of occupational medicine. With the
additional resources of Newport
Hospital, we provide on-site laboratory testing, diagnostic
imaging and testing and rehabilitation services in a single location.
- Highly-trained, experienced staff
Whether an employee comes to us for treatment of an injury or for rapid
drug
testing, you can be sure that our highly trained and experienced staff
will give that employee prompt and thorough attention. We will also
maintain regular communication with the employer regarding the
employee's status.
- Hospital-coordinated care
If an employee requires rehabilitation services, there's no better
place than Vanderbilt
Rehabilitation Center-also here at Newport Hospital and long
considered one of the area's most expert providers of physical and
occupational therapy to both inpatients and outpatients. We coordinate
the necessary care and keep companies apprised of the employee's
progress and status.
- Individualized programs
The Occupational Health Center can work with businesses to develop
cost-effective strategies for the health and safety of employees and
business. We offer health and wellness programs, medical treatment,
testing and rehabilitation to companies, coordinated by us for their
convenience.
