In order to track progress toward completion, the Principal Investigator for each grant award is responsible for submitting quarterly updates to the Program Manager that contain the following information:
Progress made toward the goals stated in your proposal
Reasons for any deviation from the stated goals, if applicable
A summary of lessons learned to date
Any unexpected or unanticipated findings
Any barriers to progress to date, if applicable,
Progress toward the stated goals of the project
Additional work or projects that have arisen as a result of your study
An accounting of the money spent, compared to the budget in your proposal
Specific examples of results of outcome measures addressing loss prevention or patient safety
Plans for follow-up evaluations or reassessment of skills
Plans for continued monitoring of results achieved
Risk Management Grants are awarded with a start date of October 1st of each year. The first quarterly update for FY 2014 grants are not due until April 15th, and should follow a quarterly schedule thereafter until completion.
A face-to-face status meeting may be requested at any point after submission of the first quarterly update.
