Lifespan's four affiliated hospitals (Rhode Island Hospital and its Hasbro Children's Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, Bradley Hospital and Newport Hospital) are dedicated to being at the forefront of innovation in psychiatry and behavioral health for people of all ages.
Affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, our teaching hospitals are the school's largest contributor to psychiatry and behavioral science education and research, bringing in research funding that makes us national leaders in the generation of new treatments.
As the largest providers of psychiatric and behavioral health services in southern New England, Lifespan's partner hospitals are committed to the integration of psychiatry and medicine, providing mental health services for our medical and surgical patients and for more than 75,000 outpatient visits each year.
A letter from Richard J. Goldberg, MD, and Daniel J. Wall
