SibLink staff members make presentations in the community in order to provide the latest information about siblings of children with special needs. Presentations may be prepared for parents, school personnel and health care professionals in Rhode Island and southern New England.
Participants learn more about the unique challenges facing siblings and resources in the community designed to maximize their healthy adjustment to those challenges. Presentations always include opportunities for questions and discussions.
SibLink staff are also available to consult with community groups to assist with the development of local programs for siblings. SibLink staff members also provide continuing education programs to disseminate information regarding siblings to other medical, mental health and related professionals through national and international conferences.
