Wendy Smith is a quality assurance and research coordinator. She has worked in the Division of Imaging Research since its inception and has experience in the preparation and execution of laboratory and clinical research. She has been responsible for the many aspects of clinical research including protocol development, IRB submission and regulatory process, budget preparation, patient recruitment, protocol compliance, and patient retention. She received her credentials as a clinical research professional from the Society of Clinical Research Associates in 1996 and is a member of the Committee on the Protection of Human Subjects (IRB) for Lifespan.
