Linda K. Snelling, MD, is medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), pediatric inpatient medicine and the pediatric sedation service at Hasbro Children's Hospital. She is also professor of pediatrics and surgery (clinical), and chief of pediatric critical care and inpatient medicine at The Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University.

Snelling completed her MD at Oregon Health Sciences University, residencies in pediatrics at University of Utah, anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine also at Hopkins. After three years as pediatric critical care faculty at Yale University, she was recruited in 1992 to develop a division of pediatric critical care medicine for Brown University.

She is on the advisory board for Women in Medicine and Science at Brown University, and teaches nationally on program development, faculty professional development and negotiation.
