Yakub Puthawala, MD, a radiation oncologist, is the associate director of radiation oncology at Rhode Island Hospital and is the chief of brachytherapy. He is also clinical professor of radiation oncology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Puthawala received his medical degree from NHL Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, completed his residency at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Center and his fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA.
