Mary Anne Fenton, MD, is a staff medical oncologist in the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Rhode Island Hospital, where she specializes in breast cancer. She is also an assistant professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Fenton is currently the chair for the Brown University Oncology Group, Data Safety Monitoring Board and the Education Committee for the Division of Hematology/Oncology. Fenton also is a member of the quality improvement committee for the Department of Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital.
Fenton received both her bachelor’s degree and her medical degree at the University of Connecticut. She has received the Mary Lawson Book Award for patient care and the Medical Student Research Award at the University of Connecticut.
