Grants and Funding

The Lifespan Office of Research Administration, Grants & Funding Section is responsible for the review, acceptance and administration of all grants and contracts for research, training & education, clinical trials and all other externally funded projects related to research.

Located on the 3rd floor of the Aldrich Building on the Rhode Island Hospital Campus, the Lifespan Office of Research Administration works with the faculty and staff of Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, Bradley Hospital and Newport Hospital to identify outside sponsors, prepare grant proposals, manage externally-funded projects and negotiate contracts and agreements to the benefit of the hospitals and the satisfaction of the organizations that sponsor research at Lifespan.
