The 17th annual research celebration took place October 22, 2009. We would like to thank everyone who made the celebration a success, particularly Dr Leslie M. Shaw, Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Director of Clinical Toxicology at the University of Pennsylvania and Dr Roland C. Merchant, winner of the 2008 Bruce Selya Award of Excellence in Research. Congratulations to the 2009 winner of the Bruce Selya Award of Excellence in Research, Dr Jeanne M.
