The Samuels Sinclair Dental Center offers a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) Education Program. The academic mission of the Sinclair residency program is to provide an appropriate educational experience for residents who rotate through the facility to manage and treat oral conditions and their systemic implications. The Samuels Sinclair Dental Center is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to underpriviledged children, and children and adult clients with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The Joseph S. Sinclair GPR program is particularly well suited for dentists interested in pediatric dentistry and public health. Residents will participate in two orientation sessions: one provided by Rhode Island Hospital and one conducted on site at the dental center. Samuels Sinclair Dental Center is a division of ambulatory care at Rhode Island Hospital and the hospital's division of dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. The center is located on the Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children's Hospital campus and is affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
