This current study examines whether different types of telephone support calls can help relieve the stress/burden that comes along with caring for a person with dementia.

Volunteers will be asked to complete a series of questionnaires and interviews about caregiving. They will receive resource materials, including information about dementia, caregiving strategies and local resources. They will also receive telephone support calls. These services will be provided at no cost, and individuals will be compensated for their participation in the study.

If you are the primary caregiver of an individual who has been diagnosed with mild to moderate dementia, and have been feeling stressed or burdened by your duties, you may be eligible to be a part of this study.
