Expert Staff and High-Tech Care
Board-certified emergency physicians treat approximately 200 patients
a day, of whom approximately 10 percent are cardiac patients. To
evaluate and manage these cardiac patients, the emergency physicians
work closely with our cardiologists.
Our facility includes:
- 4 fully-equipped critical care rooms with independent x-ray
and full monitoring capability
- 35 individual treatment beds, with new centralized monitoring
capacity for 24 acute care beds
- dedicated CT scanning and ultrasound within the department
- complete diagnostic imaging capability, including three fully
equipped x-ray suites and reading room for processing the approximately
250 studies that are ordered each day
During peak hours as many as three attending physicians are present.
