2005 Research Symposium (third annual), June 24, 2005, Rhode Island Convention Center

Brown University Medical School's newly appointed dean of medicine and biological sciences, Eli Adashi, MD, opened the event with welcoming remarks.
Four internationally known researchers, Jove, Fischer, Salomon and Ramratnam, gave research talks during the morning session.
A luncheon address by Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation's director of business development, Saul Kaplan, was followed by two poster sessions.
Over 100 scientists, researchers and staff were in attendance.
