Dominic F. Corrigan, MD, joined the faculty in 2003 as an assistant
clinical professor of medicine in the division of endocrinology,
diabetes, and metabolism. He received his MD from Tufts University
School of Medicine in 1967, and completed his residency training
on the Tufts Medical Service of the Boston City Hospital and fellowship
training in endocrinology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center
in Washington, DC. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians
and the American College of Endocrinology and a charter member of
the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Formerly,
he was a member of the clinical faculty of the endocrine section
of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Corrigan had been chief of the division of endocrinology at the
Abington Memorial Hospital and director of the Abington Hospital
Diabetes Treatment Center in suburban Philadelphia. He has extensive
clinical experience in the management of nodular disease of the
thyroid and thyroid cancer. His most recent focus has been on diabetic
education, intensive diabetic management and insulin pump therapy.
