Island Hospital offers a complete range of diagnostic and interventional
procedures in general radiology and in subspecialty areas. The department employs over 400 technical and non-technical staff.
The hospital's medical staff trains Brown Medical School residents
specializing in diagnostic imaging. The residency program was recently
ranked in the top seven percent of all programs by the American Board
of Radiology.
