The Andrew F. Anderson Emergency Center

Critical Care Unit

The critical care unit is equipped so that the team can care for patients with life-threatening illnesses or injuries. Patients can be tested using CT scan, echocardiography, x-ray and electrocardiography. Physicians in every specialty are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be called in at any time.

There is an elevator that goes directly to the operating room one floor above—this opens across from the trauma operating room.
