Food and Nutrition Services
Inpatient and Outpatient Services
- Inpatient services- All patients receive a three-day restaurant
style menu with appropriate modifications to meet their special dietary
needs. Additional menu selections are provided through the use of alternate
menu items and the pediatric menu selections. Patients who cannot indicate
food preferences have their diet selected for them by qualified personnel.
Unit assistants deliver meals to the patient's bedside.
- Outpatient services- A qualified staff of licensed clinical
dietitians provides services in a variety of outpatient areas for both
adult and pediatric patients. Food service is available to all outpatients
upon request of the clinic providing the outpatient care.
A qualified staff of registered clinical dietitians
provides standards of nutritional care, which have been approved by the
Medical Nutritional Committee. Clinical nutrition services are available
to all patients.
