Community Outreach
Dog Bite Literacy and Prevention Program
The Dog Bite Literacy and Prevention Program is a collaboration
between the Injury Prevention Center and Brown University. The program
consists of an interactive curriculum for elementary school children
featuring a pet therapy dog. Students also watch a video of dog behavior
and develop literacy skills by describing what they have learned
in writing.
