Neuroscience Unit
6B is an 11-bed neuroscience unit. All of
6B’s patient rooms are private. Some
patients are transferred to 6B from the
hospital’s neuro intensive care unit
(INCU).
Be assured that the nurses
and doctors have coordinated the patient's care to make the transition from the
INCU to 6B safe and smooth. The physician
who cared for the patient on
INCU will continue to provide his or her
care on 6B.
Because many of 6B’s
nurses have been INCU nurses, the care
provided on 6B is very similar to the care
provided on INCU.
