Pediatric Emergencies in the ED

 The emergency center physicians at Hasbro Children's Hospital
invite you to experience state-of-the-art training at the Rhode
Island Hospital Medical Simulation Center. Attend a hands-on workshop
designed to help you hone your skills in pediatric emergencies including:
- Respiratory emergencies
- Cardiac emergencies
- Neurologic emergencies
Individuals will also participate in skills stations including:
- Pediatric airway management skills
- Access skills: IV, IO, nasal and rectal drug administration
Attendees practice "code" situations in a realistic atmosphere
to enhance their skill in caring for critically ill children with
guidance from our expert faculty.

Accreditation
Rhode Island Hospital is accredited by the Rhode Island Medical Society to sponsor intrastate continuing medical education for physicians. This activity is designated for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. Each physician should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
