The department of diagnostic imaging at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University is proud to offer two body imaging fellowship positions per year.
The one year fellowship will consist of sub-specialized training in body CT scan, ultrasound and MRI in a high-volume, state-of-the-art department.
Rhode Island Hospital, the main teaching hospital of Brown Medical School, is a 715-bed facility with one of the busiest emergency departments in the United States. Equipment is state-of-the art, with six multi-detector CT scanners, including a 64-detector unit, three 1.5T MRI units and six ultrasound units.
Unique features of the fellowship include extensive exposure to image-guided procedures including tumor ablation. CT and MR cardiac Imaging and CT colonography are also performed. Providence is a pleasant and affordable city, and internal moonlighting is available and well compensated.
