The center's staff members combine their expertise in anxiety disorders and behavioral therapy to offer state-of-the-art treatment.

Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) involves intrusive thoughts, ideas or images (obsessions) and/or repetitive, intentional rituals (compulsions) that cause marked distress or interference in a person's life. OCD affects approximately 1 in 200 children. Symptoms in children may differ from those in adults.

The Pediatric Anxiety Research Clinic at the Bradley Hasbro Children's Research Center in Providence, RI, is affiliated with Brown Medical School. The clinic's researchers are dedicated to seeking effective treatments for children and adolescents with OCD and other anxiety disorders.

The center provides assessment and treatment for children with OCD and other anxiety disorders.

Primarily serving families in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut, the center offers research studies and an outpatient anxiety clinic.
