Abbe Garcia, PhD
Abbe Garcia, PhD, is a staff psychologist in the Pediatric Anxiety
Research Clinic at the Bradley/Hasbro Children's Research Center.
She specializes in cognitive behavioral treatment for children and
adolescents with anxiety disorders. Her research interests include
parent-child interaction patterns and temperamental factors that
may be associated with anxiety disorders in children.
Garcia received her bachelor's degree from Williams College and
her doctorate from Temple University. She completed her predoctoral
internship and postdoctoral fellowship in combined treatments at
Brown Medical School. Garcia is an assistant professor of psychiatry
and human behavior at Brown Medical School.
