  • What is STYLE?
    STYLE is a fun new program helping teens learn valuable skills to keep them safe and healthy. The workshop offers games and activities about relationships, communication with friends and parents, and how to stay healthy. Topics include HIV, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and eating healthy. Providence's STYLE is part a multi-site, five-year project to evaluate health promotion interventions for teens.

  • Who is eligible?
    Teens ages 14 to 18 who are in mental health treatment and have one parent able to participate, may join.

  • What do I need to do?
    Participate in a one-day workshop with other teens and complete private computer interviews.

  • Will my parents or other adults know how I answered the interview questions?
    No! Absolutely not. We will not be allowed to tell anyone your answers.

  • If I have more questions whom do I contact?
    You or your parent should feel free to confidentially contact the Project STYLE coordinator at 401-444-3372 if you have any questions at all.
