Thyroid Failure
Brown University Researchers Melissa C. Garduno, MD, and James V. Hennessey,
MD are recruiting for a clinical trial evaluating mild thyroid failure and
hypercholesterolemia. Interested participants must be 35 to 75 years of age,
currently not on thyroid hormone, anti-thyroid drugs or lipid-lowering agents.
Enrolled subjects must have a TSH of 4.5 or greater and an LDL of 130 or
greater, as determined at their first visit.
