Stroke and Memory Loss

Vascular Dementia Study

This trial is researching an investigational medication for memory loss caused by stroke. All research care and study related evaluations are provided free to those who qualify.

Subjects

Outpatients 40 years and older
Dementia Secondary to cerebrovascular disease for at least 3 months
Available caregiver
Medically stable for 3 months

Exclusions

Other degenerative neurological disorders
New stroke-like symptoms within the past 28 days
History of alcoholism or drug misuse within 10 years

Study includes

Study related Medical, Psychiatric, and Neurological evaluations without charge
24 week placebo controlled trial
No charge for study medication
Careful monitoring during the study
