Hilary Whitlatch, MD, joined the faculty in 2009 after completing her endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism fellowship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine winning numerous honors including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Whitlatch received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut where she obtained a bachelor of science in microbiology; she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and received the Phi Beta Kappa Scholar Award. She also won the Outstanding Undergraduate Research in Molecular and Cell Biology prize, awarded annually for the best undergraduate honors thesis in that department. Whitlatch provides endocrine and diabetes specialty care in the Hallett Center as well as the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She participates in the teaching programs of the division of endocrinology in addition to pursuing her research interests.
