A message from the diagnostic imaging research staff
The division of imaging research is celebrating 20 years of service to Lifespan and our community.
Our efforts began in earnest on April 1, 1991 and 20 years have passed very quickly. The interest in imaging research has blossomed since 1991 and continues to grow with each passing year. We are very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it.
With the help of all the clinical areas within diagnostic imaging and many other departments within Lifespan, we have successfully completed trials of cancer screening, minimally invasive cancer treatments, surveillance of cancer treatments, and novel imaging agents/procedures.We have participated in trials funded by the National Cancer Institute; the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute; Brown University; Lifespan, private foundations and more.
A big thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts for 20 years.
