Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (Recertification) This 3-hour course, conducted in accordance with the American Heart Association's 2010 guidelines, is designed to renew skills learned in response to life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest and foreign body airway obstruction in adults, infants and children. It includes the use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Pre-requisite: current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.
Family & Friends CPR and First Aid This is a two part program held the third & fourth Tuesdays of the month in the Birthing Center, Newport Hospital, from 5:30-9:30pm. For fee information and to register call 401-845-1133.
