Emergency Services
There's Always Time for Family
We believe that patients' families and friends are important to
their well being. We encourage patients to have a loved one with
them while they wait and during their treatment, if appropriate.
Should additional family members or friends come to see the patient
while he or she is in the the Andrew F. Anderson Emergency Center, they may visit if the patient gives
consent. For the patient's comfort, we may limit the number of loved
ones who can be at the patient's bedside. No child under 14 years
of age may visit a patient without permission from the center charge
nurse. We recognize the patient's family and friends as important
members of the health care team, and we strive to keep them informed
of the patient's progress.
If you need to have surgery, your family members will be escorted
to the surgical waiting area.
Andrew F. Anderson Emergency Center Amenities
In the waiting area there are vending machines as well as Au Bon
Pain, a cafe that serves hot and cold drinks, soups, salads, sandwiches
and bakery items.
Public bathrooms are located throughout the center, including in the
waiting area.
