  • 2014 Safety is No Accident Video/Poster Contest

  • IPC Awards 2014

    Unintentional injury is the leading cause of death among people under 44 years of age. The Injury Prevention Center is teaming up with other local organizations to raise awareness of this important issue among high school students and the community at large with the 2014 Safety Is No Accident Video/Poster Contest, which is available to all high school students in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts.

    Prizes will be awarded at a ceremony at the Rhode island State House on April 9, 2014. The winning poster will be displayed on a billboard for one month, and the winning video will be shown at a Paw Sox game. First prize for the video contest is a $2,000 scholarship. First prize for the poster contest is a $1,000 college scholarship.
