  • Safety Gates For CNDC Families

    The IPC was awarded a $750 grant from Toys R Us to purchase stairway gates for the early intervention program of the Children's Neurodevelopment Center at Hasbro Children's Hospital.     Rhode Island State Junior Grange donates over $800 to the Injury Prevention Center

    On Friday, November 18, 2011 the Rhode Island State Junior Grange once again presented a check to the Injury Prevention Center. This year's very generous donation of over $800 will be used to purchase bicycle helmets that the Injury Prevention Center will give to children at upcoming safety events.

    On August 10, 2011 the Injury Prevention Center along with Safe Kids Rhode Island held a car seat safety/distribution event at the Blackstone Valley Community Health Center.  Forty-nine car seats were distributed and additional eleven car seat installations were checked at this very successful event.
