Binge Eating Disorder
Binge eating
disorder, or compulsive overeating, is uncontrolled eating
that is usually kept secret.
People with this condition engage in frequent binges, but unlike
bulimics, do not purge afterward. Binges are usually followed by intense
feelings of guilt and shame.
Warning signs of binge eating disorder:
- Episodes of binge eating
- Eating when not hungry
- Frequent dieting
- Feeling unable to stop eating
- Awareness that eating habits aren't normal

- Depression
- Feeling ashamed
- Antisocial behavior
- Obesity

consequences of binge eating disorder:
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Heart disease
- Gall bladder disease
- Diabetes
- Certain types of cancer
