Healthy Serving:
Kentucky Johnny Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup wheat germ, toasted
- 3 tbsp. butter

- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
|
Directions:
Combine flour, cornmeal and wheat germ and set aside. Cream sugar and
butter and add egg. Alternately add dry mix and buttermilk. Bake 30
minutes at 425. Serves 12.
