Hearty Oatmeal

- ½ cup dry oatmeal, 5-minute cooking
- 1 cup water
- ¼-1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp to 1 tbsp Brown sugar, maple syrup
or a combination of the two
- 2 tbsp walnuts
- 2 tbsp raisins
- Optional: milk

Directions:
- Measure the water in a 2-cup glass measuring cup.
- Add the salt, oats and sweetener.
- Microwave on medium power for 5 minutes.
- Add the raisins, nuts and milk (if using).
You can eat this in the glass measuring cup, if you like.
