Hearty Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • ½ cup dry oatmeal, 5-minute cooking
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼-1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp to 1 tbsp Brown sugar, maple syrup
    or a combination of the two
  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • Optional: milk

Directions:

  1. Measure the water in a 2-cup glass measuring cup.
  2. Add the salt, oats and sweetener.
  3. Microwave on medium power for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the raisins, nuts and milk (if using).

You can eat this in the glass measuring cup, if you like.
