Lloyd Feit, MD, is associate professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed a general pediatrics residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, with an additional year as fellow in pediatric education. He then did his pediatric cardiology training and fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.
Feit joined the pediatric cardiology division at Rhode Island Hospital in 1991, and helped coordinate the inception of the new Hasbro Children's Hospital as inpatient director from 1994 until 2000. He became director of the division in 2010.
Feit is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. His clinical interests include all aspects of pediatric cardiology with special emphasis on fetal cardiology diagnosis and management and adult congenital heart disease. Research interests include Kawasaki disease, and general care of the patient with complex heart disease.
