Sara Regan Ford, MD, received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1997. She then spent seven years at the University of Virginia where she completed a residency in general pediatrics and a four-year fellowship in pediatric cardiology.
She joined the pediatric cardiology division at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in 2004, and is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
Her clinical interests include all aspects of pediatric cardiology with special emphasis on non-invasive imaging, fetal echocardiography, and disorders of lipid metabolism. Research interests include models of protection from cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury, and vascular reactivity.
