Bereavement Support Groups

Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island provides bereavement support groups in various Rhode Island locations for those grieving the death of a loved one. All are welcome, regardless of whether they have used the organization's services in the past. For a list of the current adult and children's support groups, please contact one of the following bereavement team members:

  • Young Widows Bereavement Support Group
    St. Lawrence School
    622 Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence
    2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

  • FRIENDS Way
    Bereavement support group for children and teens, ages 3 to 18, and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one. There is also a group for young adults, ages 18 to 25.
