This support group generally meets on the first Wednesday of every month in the Gerry House lounge at Rhode Island Hospital. The gastric bypass support group is an informational support group for patients who have undergone or waiting to undergo gastric bypass surgery. Family members are welcome to attend.

  • Attend the next meeting
    • The December meeting will include a holiday celebration after the “All in the Family-Weight Loss Surgery and the Effects on the Family” facilitated by Camille Gregorian, LICSW.

    • Please bring a food item that is appropriate for the diet stage you are following. Remember to attach the recipe and your name. If you can provide the nutrient analysis (calories, protein, fat) per serving, that would be a bonus.Please keep the food at a safe temperature. There is no way to refrigerate or reheat food at the meeting.

    • Paper goods will be provided.

  • Directions and parking at Rhode Island Hospital
    • Parking is available in lot B (behind the Women and Infants Hospital and the APC building on Plain Street/Service Road)
