Optional: Fresh herbs, (rosemary, basil and thyme) salt and pepper
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Cook pasta according to package directions. Heat the olive oil over low heat. Add the pressed garlic and stir to combine. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir the drained, rinsed cannellini beans into the oil and garlic. Turn the heat up to medium-high and stir in the defrosted, drained spinach. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on medium-high 8 to 10 minutes, stirring often. Stir in chopped fresh herbs as desired. Stir in the canned tomatoes. Heat until heated through. Toss with cooked whole-wheat pasta and serve.
